Privacy Policy

Effective September 2, 2026

This privacy policy applies to the Resiboo app (the "Application") for mobile devices, created by Ezra Jeremiah Anglo (the "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS."

Information collection and use

Resiboo does not require an account and does not operate a server that stores your receipts, categories, or exports — all of that is saved locally on your device. The Application does not collect your name, email, or location, and does not use analytics or advertising SDKs.

If you enable Resiboo Plus features that call an AI provider (line-item extraction, Ask Resiboo), the relevant receipt text or query is sent to that provider for the single request needed to answer it, and is not stored by Resiboo.

AI features

Resiboo Plus offers optional AI-powered features: reading line items off a receipt photo, and Ask Resiboo, a conversational way to query your spending or add entries. These are off unless you turn them on, and you can pick your AI provider in Settings.

When you use one of these features, only the specific receipt image or text, or the specific question you ask, is sent to that provider to generate a response — not your full receipt history. That data is not stored by Resiboo, and is not used by Resiboo or, to the best of our knowledge, by the provider, to train any AI model. Your chosen provider's own privacy policy governs how it handles that request.

Cloud backup

If you turn on backup (a Resiboo Plus feature), it connects directly to your own iCloud or Google Drive account using that platform's standard permissions. Resiboo never receives or stores a copy of that data.

Third-party services

The Application may use the following third-party services, which have their own privacy policies governing the data they process on Resiboo's behalf: your chosen AI provider (for Plus AI features), and your device's own iCloud or Google Drive (for backup). Resiboo does not sell or share your information with any other third party, except as required by law or to protect the Service Provider's legal rights.

Data retention & deletion

Because your data lives on your device, deleting a receipt, using Delete local data in Settings, or uninstalling the app removes it immediately. If you've enabled cloud backup, a copy remains in your own iCloud or Google Drive until you delete it there. To request help deleting data, contact dev.ezraanglo@gmail.com.

Children's privacy

Resiboo does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The Application is not directed at children, and since no account or personal data collection exists, none is knowingly gathered from any user, including minors.

Security

Your data is protected by your device's own operating system and, where applicable, your cloud provider's security. Resiboo relies on those platforms rather than a Resiboo-operated server, since none exists.

Opt-out

You can stop all data storage by the Application at any time by uninstalling it, using your device's standard uninstall process.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the Application after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
