COMMON QUESTIONS
Does this replace my budgeting app?
No, and it isn't meant to. Keep YNAB, your spreadsheet, or whatever you already use — Resiboo just handles the data entry and hands you a clean export when you need one.
Does Resiboo work without internet?
Yes. Scanning, extraction, search, stats, categories, and export are all offline-first and run entirely on your device. Only an optional AI provider or cloud backup connection needs a network.
Do I need an account?
No account exists, for anyone, ever. There's no sign-in, no profile, and nothing tying your data to an email address.
What is Snap & Go?
An optional setting that skips the review screen entirely: take the photo, and the camera closes immediately while extraction finishes in the background. You still see anything that needs a second look, in Needs attention.
What can Ask Resiboo do?
Ask questions about your own spending in plain language — "how much did I spend at Target this month," "show me my biggest purchase" — or add an expense or reminder by talking or typing. It only ever answers from your own data.
Is my data private?
Yes. Receipts stay on your device by default and nothing reaches a Resiboo server. Cloud backup, when you turn it on, connects to your own iCloud or Google Drive.
Is Resiboo really free?
Yes — every feature, including AI line-item extraction, Ask Resiboo, and cloud backup, is free. No tiers, no trial, no credit card.
Is Resiboo available on Android?
Not yet — Resiboo is on iOS now, with Android coming soon.
Can I export my receipts?
Yes, to CSV with your choice of columns, categories and date format, and as many saved export profiles as you want.
